About Mary Sheni

Fairly decent fear of heights.  I start getting anxious two rungs up on a ladder.  Must have sustained some terrific fall in a previous life. I am quite sure I was in the midst of some highly daring and adventurous activity at the time.  Rappelling off a cliff. Basejumping. Skywalking.
Hope it wasn’t something so mundane like falling off a stepstool while changing a lightbulb.  I would like to think my prior life was infinitely more exciting and filled with far more daily adrenaline than it is now.
Don’t do any mint, peppermint, spearmint, etc.  I probably number among a very minute section of adults who brush their teeth with kid’s toothpaste. Yep, very true.  Although I will admit to having tried a variety of mojitos, purely research purposes, you umderstand. All a tipsy, thumbs-up.  I just ignore the fresh mint muddled into it like it isn’t even there.
I do love chocolate, nearly every which way it can be produced.  But if it is wrapped around mint or coconut, then forget it.  I would have to be on a deserted island and having had polished off the last can of botulism-tainted sardines before I would eat it.  Well, I’d probably have eaten the coconut one.  That’s mostly a texture thing that’s kinda weird.
Don’t drink coffee or tea, simply because of the taste. I like the smell of coffee though, so go figure. And I know how much of an anomaly I am not to drink iced tea. I’m a Texas girl through and through.  NO ICED TEA?? It’s a wonder I haven’t been taken out back yet and shot.
Wait, does Long Island Iced Tea count?  Or Irish Coffee?? Both those be lip-smackin’, throat-tingling, sweet-mama little slips of happiness lovingly poured in a mug.
Ok, brass tacks….

I am here for the same reason you are. There is the bizarre, the inane, the superfluous, the poignant, the fantastically incredible… and my all-time fave… what makes us each take a peek inside and see, well something damn funny.

Let’s start this journey together. Welcome aboard.

And have a little fun along the path we are creating, yes?
